Azumi to offer Split-E

AUSTIN, TEXAS–January 15, 2008 – The Azumi Flute by Altus has added another professional feature as an option to its product offering.  Players can now choose between the new split E offset or the traditional offset on the 2000 and 3000 Azumi models. The split E mechanism allows players to sustain the third octave E note with ease and better intonation.

Since its introduction in 2006, the Azumi has quickly grown in popularity with educators and upper-level intermediate players.  Azumi Flutes are distributed by Jupiter Band Instruments, Inc.
